Execution notes

The Mechanicus default. Galvanic refinement is the whole build — before it lands, Rangers are ordinary; after it, they out-range everything at their tier. Everything else exists to keep them alive until it completes.

Adaptations

If: Melee-heavy opponent scouted
Add a second Vanguard squad before refinement rather than after.
If: Vehicle scouted
Research arc weaponry immediately, before refinement.

Known weaknesses

  • Very weak to anything that reaches melee
  • Power-hungry and punished badly by generator loss
